Brittany Barbato is a Philadelphia-based video producer who produces, films, and edits video for mission-driven organizations to tell stories that inform and inspire action on key issues such as literacy, education, and healthcare.
With nearly 10 years of communications experience and three years as a dedicated video producer/shooter/editor, Brittany's career has given her knowledge and experience in every role on set. Plus, having served on communication and digital media teams in both nonprofit and corporate settings in the past, she has an insider's understanding of needs and processes unique to organizations.
In addition, Brittany's training and work as a community food educator strengthen her ability to use strength-based, trauma-aware tactics to support the creation of inclusive, safe, and fun workspaces for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Brittany studied communications with a focus in video production at Penn State University, The Behrend College ('10). She was first introduced to the City of Brotherly Love when she played semi-professional soccer with the Philadelphia Liberty. While her knees have since gone, her love for the city has only grown.
Brittany lives in the Mt. Airy neighborhood with her cat, Bhaji, and her partner, Ben.
