Brittany Barbato is a Philadelphia-based videographer, photographer and writer whose work uses storytelling to inform and inspire action on key issues such as education, health, food sovereignty and the environment.
Having served in the past as a communications and digital media professional for both nonprofit and corporate organizations, she’s witnessed how content focused on folks who are finding solutions can forge real pathways for building stronger communities.
In addition, her training and experience as a community food educator allow her to create and facilitate safe and inclusive spaces for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Brittany studied communications with a focus in video production at Penn State University, The Behrend College ('10). She was first introduced to the City of Brotherly Love when she played semi-professional soccer with the Philadelphia Liberty. While her knees have since gone, her love for the city has only grown.
Brittany lives in Mt. Airy with her cat, Bhaji, and her partner, Ben.
